Whole Egg in Toast

Ingredients
- 2 slices bread
- Salted butter, for spreading as desired
- 2 large eggs
- Salt and ground black pepper, as desired
Instructions
Step 1
Flip unit down to the horizontal position and push the lever back all the way until it clicks into position.
Step 2
Using a 6-7cm pastry cutter, cut a hole in the centre of each piece of bread. Then butter each slice of bread on both sides.
Step 3
Place bread on grill tray and insert into unit. Select GRILL, select HIGH and set the time to 2 minutes. Select START/STOP to begin. Toast until desired shade is reached.
Step 4
When cooking is complete, remove tray and turn bread over. Then break an egg into the centre of each piece of toast. Season as desired. Insert tray back into unit.
Step 5
Select BAKE, select MED and set the time to 10 minutes. Select START/STOP to begin. Toast until desired shade is reached and egg is set.
Step 6
When cooking is complete, remove tray from unit and serve immediately.
