Ingredients

For the shrimp (prawn) marinade

  • 15oz Shrimp (Prawns), deveined and shelled
  • 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 Egg
  • 1oz Buttermilk or another Egg

For the sauce

  • 4oz Mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha Sauce
  • 3 1/2 tbsp Sweet Chilli Sauce

For the cornflour mix

  • 2oz Cornflour
  • 4oz Plain Flour
  • 1 tsp Garlic Granules

Other

  • 1 tbsp Oil for brushing Prawns

Instructions

Step 1
Combine Prawns with all the ingredients listed under Shrimp (Prawns) in a bowl and set aside.

Step 2
Combine all the ingredients for the sauce in a small bowl and whisk together.

Step 3
Combine all the ingredients for the Cornflour mix in a bowl and whisk together.

Step 4
Preheat air fryer to 200 C.

Step 5
Brush the inside of the air fryer with Oil.

Step 6
Coat the marinaded Prawns in the Cornflour mix in batches.

Step 7
Add to the air fryer leaving space between shrimp.

Step 8
Cover and cook for 5 minutes.

Step 9
After 5 minutes, flip and brush over some oil.

Step 10
Cover and cook for a further 2 - 4 minutes or until cooked.

Step 11
Drizzle sauce over the shrimp and serve immediately.
