Ingredients

For the pigs in blankets

  • 12 sage leaves
  • 12 veggie chipolata style sausages
  • 12 veggie bacon rashers

For the glaze

  • 3 tbsp honey, maple syrup, or agave
  • 1 tsp wholegrain mustard
  • 1/2 tsp olive oil
  • 1/2 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1 Leaves from sprig of thyme (finely chopped)
  • Few gratings nutmeg

Instructions

Step 1
Place a sage leaf on each veggie chipolata and wrap the veggie bacon rasher around each one. Secure with a cocktail stick if needed (you'll probably be fine without)

Step 2
Mix together the ingredients for the glaze and set to one side.

Step 3
Insert the cripser plate into the cooking pot and close the lid. Select ‘AIR CRISP’ and set to temperature to 170°C and time to 12 minutes. Select START/STOP to begin cooking.

Step 4
After 2 minutes open the lid and spray the crisper plate with cooking spray. Carefully place the prepared pigs in blankets onto the crisper plate. Close the lid to resume cooking. Flip halfway through cooking with silicone tongs and baste with the glaze.

Step 5
Remove from the unit using tongs and pour over remaining glaze. Serve immediately.
