Vegan Salted Caramel & Chocolate Doughnuts
You can now enjoy a super delicious vegan recipe that is packed with protein and a rich creamy taste.
Ingredients
- 1.4oz dairy free butter
- 3.15fl. oz Unsweetened Mighty Pea m.lk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2.1fl. oz maple syrup
- 1.05oz Mighty Human Salted Caramel Vegan Protein
- 2.8oz flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1.75oz dairy free cream cheese
- 0.53fl. oz maple syrup
- 0.18oz unsweetened cocoa powder
Instructions
Step 1
Using the cup of your nutri blender, add in the butter, Unsweetened Mighty Pea m.lk, vanilla extract and maple syrup, then blend for approximately 30 seconds to mix the wet ingredients together
Step 2
Transfer the wet ingredients to a mixing bowl, sift the flour, baking powder and Mighty Human Salted Caramel Vegan Protein over the wet ingredients and fold using a spatula
Step 3
Pour the doughnut batter into a piping bag and pipe in a doughnut shaped baking tray
Step 4
Pre-heat your Mini Flip Oven to 170 degrees (if you are using a conventional oven pre-heat the oven at the start)
Step 5
Place the doughnuts in a baking tray and bake for approximately 16-18 minutes
Step 6
Allow the doughnuts to cool for around 5-8 minutes before removing them from the tray. Then place the doughnuts on a wire rack to dry fully
Step 7
Prepare the cream cheese topping by mixing together dairy-free cream cheese along with the maple syrup and cocoa powder until you achieve a creamy frosting consistency
Step 8
Dip the doughnuts in the cream cheese frosting and sprinkle with nuts (optional). Allow the cream cheese to be at room temperature, this will allow it to mic easier
